On Thursday, July 7th at 18:15, Prof Carl H. Nightingale from the State University of New York at Buffalo will be delivering a keynote lecture on behalf of the workshop “Writing the Social History of Port Cities” hosted by the Patchwork Cities team. This lecture is open to interested students and staff in Berlin and is titled “Is There an Urban Planet in the Urban Patchwork? Accelerations of Energy and Power in Steam-Era Port Cities.” No registration is required but we will be asking all attendees to wear a mask. More information is available in the poster below.
